Hoskins Park Ministry to Purchase 17th House

Hi everyone!

Praise the Lord! Hoskins Park Ministries has just received a generous offer to help us buy the 17th house for our ministry which is located just down the road from the other houses! God continues to grow Hoskins Park ministries (which includes Blessings In The Storm!) and we give Him the glory!

Furthermore, we will be naming this new home “Kurt’s House” in memory of the late Kurt Wiltsey. A man after God’s own heart who always took care of God’s least. This is a way for us to remember God’s servant Kurt and be reminded of God’s compassion and generosity lived out through our friend.

The house still needs a lot of work so please pray for the Lord to raise an additional $15k -$20K for us to do it right. And please pray for the supplies and for the people to do the work to help out in the next couple months. We would like this house up and running this spring.

Also, if you would, please pray or help out yourself, with our committed monthly donors, of any amount. Please?! Even $25 per month makes a big difference while $100 per month (or more) is a huge help to us! We are doing the work we feel God called us to do by taking His people off the street and living with and amongst them. But our overhead goes up as we add people and staff and new houses raise up the bar for us. We really need your help! But don’t give if you feel we are asking for too much. We are just trying to help as many people as we can and, well, as we all know, it takes money. I’m sorry everyone wants your money though! But it takes money to do what we do and that’s just the way it is. So give if you can give cheerfully, forget I asked if you feel we are asking for too much. But we need help to keep growing. And we are getting people off the street permanently.

Oh, and one of the scriptures that drives us and the WAY we do our work is found in the book of Romans. The bible says in Romans 2:4, “Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you toward repentance?” It is saying that God’s kindness leads to repentance, not His judgment. None of us reading this email likes to be judged. So perhaps we can stop judging the homeless and praising the God who created us for the blessing all of us have to actually have a home to live in ourselves!  We are blessed to be a blessing, is the point! So, let’s keep the blessings flowing!!!

If you feel led to give to HPM, please send checks to:

If you are sending a check on behalf of “Kurt’s House” please indicate that on the check.

Thanks for your support and consideration to further support God’s least.
