How do you know you are where God wants you?
Many of you give us furniture donations. We appreciate those donations more than you know and we depend on them. Anyway, our newest house, 103 Cromer Street received donations from several of you in that same manner. They came out of the blue, just when we needed them. But one of these donations was more special than we knew.
Sunday morning, one of our residents came running out of the house to show me what he found inside his dresser that was in his room (he just moved into the house). It was pictures of his children and family from 10 years ago! Their names were written on the photographs. This dresser used to be in his house when he lived in it in West Virginia 10 years ago! By God’s grace and sovereignty that dresser was placed in a room before this fellow even got to it with pictures of his own family and children.
I believe this is one more testimony that God is good and in control! He loves us more than we know and he can move, not only mountains in our lives, he can move dressers to show us how much he cares and that He is with us.
May this story inspire you today, as it has done me. What a God we have … may we all honor Him by giving Him back the lives He so graciously has given us.
